This product is a non-ionic acid-releasing agent designed for precise pH adjustment in textile wet processing. It gradually releases organic acid under high-temperature conditions, providing a stable and mild acidic environment. It effectively neutralizes residual alkali after pretreatment or scouring processes, improving the dye uptake of acid and reactive dyes without the risks associated with direct acid addition.
Performance Characteristics:
1.Controlled acid release at temperatures above 80°C, avoiding local over-acidification and fabric damage.
2.Excellent neutralization effect for post-alkali stripping, level dyeing, and after-treatment of cotton and blended fabrics.
3.Compatible with non-ionic and anionic auxiliaries; stable in hard water and high-temperature conditions
Physical Properties:
Appearance: White to off-white fine granules/powder
pH Value (1% solution): 6.5 – 7.5 (neutral)
Acid release temperature: ≥ 80°C
Effective acid content: Equivalent to 60% citric acid (gradual release)
Dosage:
0.5% – 2.0% o.w.f
Note: According to the actual situation, color shade to decide the optimum
amount.
Storage: To ensure product integrity, it is advised to store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouses, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months in unopened original packaging.
