This product can replace soda ash for color fixation in the dyeing process of reactive dyes.
Performance Characteristics:
1.It can be used as a fixation base in the dyeing process of reactive dyes, replacing soda ash (Na2CO3).
2.The dosage is only 1/12 of that of soda ash, with low cost, small storage pressure, and reduced overall sewage treatment pressure as well as the labor operation intensity of workers. Residual alkali is easy to wash away, which can reduce secondary water washing and save water.
3.Due to the synergistic effect of multiple alkaline compounds, the ability to control the pH value of the dye bath and the dyeing speed is stronger, which can ensure uniform and continuous dyeing of the dye, as well as good synchronization and leveling.
4. The viscosity of the fixation bath is low, which can avoid dyeing defects caused by excessive viscosity of the fixation bath and can be used in various types of dyeing equipment.
Physical Properties:
Appearance: White powder
PH VALUE: 11.5-12.5
Dosage:
Immersion method: Dark color: 2-4g/L
Pad dyeing method: Substitute alkali: 1-4g/L; Caustic soda: 0-3g/L
Note: According to the actual situation, color shade to decide the optimum
amount.
Precautions:
1.The substitute alkali DY5 is a strongly alkaline and corrosive substance and should be treated with appropriate safety measures. Avoid direct contact
with skin and eyes. If it gets stuck, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
2.Before use, it should be dissolved into a solution and added in two to
three portions.
Storage:
To ensure product integrity, it is advised to store in cool and ventilated warehouses, with a storage period of 12 months for optimal performance.
